Hello and thank you for your interest in our dogs! We have been raising Catahoula Leopard Dogs since 2014. We are a small NALC Registered Kennel producing a litter a year here in Michigan. We produce larger frame dogs that are a little more laid back. We selectively breed for desired demeanor. All puppies born are seen by our licensed veterinarian and leave here with age appropriate vaccines and multiple dewormings. I strive to produce litters that meet and preserve the National Association of Louisiana Catahoulas (NALC) standard.
Catahoulas are a high energy breed and as the NALC motto states "Not everyone needs a Catahoula." BEFORE purchasing a puppy you should research the breed to make sure it will be a good fit for your family and your families needs. We are not a hunting family. We enjoy obedience, conformation, rally and CAMPING with our dogs! This breed is so versatile and should go in any direction you decide to put them in. Whether you own a farm, need protection around your home, want a hunting/blood trailing dog, or just a companion the Catahoula may be right for you. The key when owning and working with Catahoulas is to provide constant stimulation. A tired houla is a happy houla. As I have mentioned above we participate in obedience, conformation, and rally. Having the right tools for the job at hand is a must.
